Ray's Bar and Bowl is the first single from Memphis and The Grande's forthcoming 2027 album “The Modern Western Gentleman's Companion.” The oldest story in country music told in two-tone shoes: a guy on lane seven who can't stop throwing gutters because the woman on the other team has a perfect follow-through. She works shifts at the County Line, he drives truck on Interstate Nine, and Saturday night at the league is the one place their weeks line up. He goes from “hoping” she’ll show to “knowing” she’ll show. Ross "Memphis" Pambrun's baritone with Stephen “Kinger” King’s old-fashioned harmonies carries it while a band of banjo, harmonica, guitars, bass, slide and drums keep the whole thing rolling like a ball down a well-oiled lane. Some folks find love in candlelight. Some write their names in the stars. This love story is under neon lights and an old jukebox sound where everybody knows just how you roll.

Kanadische Country-Musik Fur Unsere Deutschen Freunde! Danke to everyone in Germany for listening to our Memphis and The Grande music. One late night, at TCanStudios, when recording “Songs From The Dirt Road,” Memphis started talking in German; he grew up on a Canadian military base in Germany. Kinger is also a military brat. We said, “Wouldn't it be cool to take some of the songs from this album and re-do the vocals in German?” ... it's also a shout-out to Canadian Armed Forces stationed around the world!
We put it in the back of our minds. When we released the album, Germany became the third-largest country streaming the album in the world, tucked in behind Canada and the U.S.A. So, I guess we HAD to do it. Three songs and a year later, wir freuen uns, unsere neue Musik-EP „Lieder Aus Dem Dreck“ zu veröffentlichen. Danke fürs Zuhören! Kommt vorbei und singt mit. It's not the whole album, so we called it “Songs From The Dirt.”
