One late night, at TCanStudios, when recording “Songs From The Dirt Road,” Memphis started talking in German; he grew up on a Canadian military base in Germany. Kinger is also a military brat. We said, “Wouldn't it be cool to take some of the songs from this album and re-do the vocals in German?” ... it's also a shout-out to Canadian Armed Forces stationed around the world!

We put it in the back of our minds. When we released the album, Germany became the third-largest country streaming the album in the world, tucked in behind Canada and the U.S.A. So, I guess we HAD to do it. Three songs and a year later, wir freuen uns, unsere neue Musik-EP „Lieder Aus Dem Dreck“ zu veröffentlichen. Danke fürs Zuhören! Kommt vorbei und singt mit. It's not the whole album, so we called it “Songs From The Dirt.”
